Today mr.sadrakh told us to play our own melody as usual as a practice for the upcoming assessment. Today violin played first, followed by flute, then guitar, and the last is piano.

Today Mr.Sadrakh told some of us to play their melody in front of everyone. The first one to play is the piano as always. Mr.Sadrakh choose Louis, Ryan, and Kimberly to perform their melody. The second one is guitar as usual. Mr. Sadrakh choose Gio, Karisa, and Rilya to play their melody, but after Gio play his melody that he claim want to change it because the melody is basically only contain 3 note,  Mr.Sadrakh commented about his guitar that have a lot of stickers and in bad condition, so he told Gio to talk  to the door as a punishment. After that the flute have to play their melody, as always. Mr.Sadrakh chose Omar, Julius, and Rana to play their melody. and the last one is should be the violin but as always they didn't perform because times up. Today Mr.Sadrakh told us to give a soft copy of your melody to his e-mail, the latest is 17 May 2011.

Today is the day for the essay assessment. The assessment is about biography of John William. I think i did well when i did this assessment, because i think the material is more interesting than the last essay assessment about history of music. Today i didn't got instrument session because most of the time goes for the essay.

Today in music class, i didn't learned anything new. Today we just reviewing about John William because next session there will be an assessment about him. After we done reviewing about him, Mr.Sadrakh call us randomly to go to the front and we have to say anything that we memorize about John William. A lot of people called to the front some say a lot of information about him, and some just say some sentences that very obvious about him. At the end Mr.Sadrakh ask us why is everybody only talk about the biography of John William, and why nobody talk about his award that he has got. Before we go to instrument class Mr.Sadrakh check our attendance.

Today in music class i didn't learned anything new. Today  we just play our own melody in instrument. There are some people that cannot play their melody, people who can play their melody, and some people didn't bring instrument. From piano student all of them can play their melody properly. From guitar student there are some who can play good and some who still need more practice. From violin student most of of them can play their melody perfectly. From woodwind student most of them cannot play the melody because we didn't practice and few of them can play properly but still need a little practice. when the woodwind student play Mr.Harry told us to wrote a reflection of the student who show on the front. After woodwind student perform Mr.Sadrakh get mad at us because he is very dissapointed at us because almost none of us can play properly.

today in music class we did not learned anything new, Mr.Sadrakh only refresh our memory about the reflection of the past music session. And he told us to pick 2 members of each instrument to play their own melody but in the end almost nobody played their melody only Nadya Prasetyo play hers.

today Mr.sadrakh is absent so because illness so today the teacher is Mr.harry from piano class. Today Mr.Harry told us about the upcoming assessment, the assessment is a western music essay. He distribute an article about a musicians named John William. After that we have to read the article in five minutes and then he choose one of the classmate to read about the article. the last thing he did is gave us some question regarding John William and we have to answer it.

today mr.sadrakh told us about a program called finale music maker. in that program we must write our melody and then submit it on the next session. he told us about how to write your melody and ow to put some change or how to put some signs.

today mr.sadrakh only discuss about the melody that everybody have made, he check it like last week and if we still wrong we have to change it again and today he plays some of the melody that have done.

Today in music class mr.sadrakh check our progress on my melody. he check who have done their assessment and who still try to make some. for the student that have done their assessment he plays it in front of the class and give us some advice abut the melody. and if he already check it we must change it until it is good.

today mr.Sadrakh discuss about my melody with us. after checking attendance like usual, mr.sadrakh play his melody to as an examples about what is a melody and after that he give us a homework to make your own melody. the melody must contain 32 bars and it must have a patterns of A-A'-B-A'.

today is the day of the retest for some people that think their score are bad. For some people they already said to Mr.Sadrakh that they want to do the retest for the assessment because they think their score is bad, but almost all people that did the retest got a nice score. They still have to do the retest but for some of them that did not practice they got a lower score than what they got originally.

today is the day for flute assessment. i play mary had a little lamb. actually i already tried to play amazing graze but because i am still not good at it so i decided to just play mary had a little lamb. i don't know my score yet but i think my score wouldn't be so good may be just average score to past the test because i only play a very simple song and for some note i cannot blew it properly.

Today is the day for the assessment about history of music. This assessment is in essay and we have to make at least 400 words. But this assessment is really-really hard and i think i did not do well in this assessment because i only write about 200 words and i was wrong when i am dong it. last night i already work hard to try to memorize the story of history of music from early music until now and 5 musicians from each era. But i just cannot concentrate on memorizing it and i end up only remember halve of the story and some musicians name that i already familiar with. For this assessment i think i did not do well and in fact i think i will get a low score.

Next week there will be an assessment about the history of music from early music until now. So because of that assessment, today session of music we learned and memorize all the story about history of music like the handout that already given a few weeks ago. For the assessment about history of music, we already know that the assessment will be on essay so we have to memorize the story and the name of famous musician on that era.

today there will be a repeating session for my friend that have a low score at last week assessment so they can get a better score. i don't want to take that because i am scared that i will get lower score than my previous score. next week there will be an assessment about history of music and in that day my blog must be done.

today is the assessment day for the song my favorite things from the music video the sound of music. this song is pretty hard for me because i don't really remember the lyrics and the note is keep getting higher then suddenly became low. but because i try to remember the lyrics, my score became 9.5 out of 10. next month there will be another assessment.

today i have learned about interval. interval is depending on one scale and that is 1 - 1 - 1/2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1/2. every interval only depend on this scale. so we only have to remember this scale and the rest we just have to think about the note. today i got a homework about intervals and we have to submit the homework on Thursday.

today i learned how to sing properly. when you sing you have to breath properly so the sound would be nice and beside how to sing today i learned how to sing " my favorite things " a song from a music video the sound of music. next week there will be a singing assessment about singing my favorite things and we have to practice at home.
